RE: Lou Dorsey
We will have multiple weapons on offense next season. Norvell is building a team designed to overwhelm and destroy opponents, a la Hardaway.

From the looks of the tape? Yes. The question is, do we have somebody who can get it TO him...

Did he 'divorce' the Illini ? What happened?

Dorsey had been suspended for the entirety of the spring semester for a violation of team rules. Due to another violation, Dorsey was suspended for the first three games of 2018. Dorsey had been named to the 2018 Mackey Award Preseason Watch List. He finished 2018 without a catch.

Despite the fact that he’d hauled in 22 receptions for 395 yards and three touchdowns in 2017, Smith didn’t bend the rules for his star tight end.

“Players leave,” Smith said. “We want players who want to be here. Our focus is on them. Divorce is good sometimes.”

Lol. Well you can understand the kid wanting to take a shot back given the coach’s unprofessional quote. Hopefully the young man makes the best of his new opportunity.

Yeah, I thought that was an odd quote from the kid. Then I read that Smith was the one who said it about him. So the kid was taking a friendly jab back.

Smith's old enough to know better.

Lou,

Welcome back and hope you don't get "divorced" again. :)
