Seriously though, Penny has to strike while the iron is hot. Because after next season, it’s back to reality.

Good stuff. I don’t understand how Penny stabbed Cal in the back. Lol.

Quote: How did he stab Cal in the back? Is there some type of off the court thing he did because recruiting the same kid is definitely not stabbing someone in the back

I think Cal allowed Penny to be with him during a visit to Wiseman. Maybe more than one. Not sure but I've heard that Cal wanted to hire Penny. Penny then exploited Cal's nature using the privileged info for his own use knowing his own plan recruiting Wiseman himself. Penny had better succeed as a head coach. If true as I have read Penny p_ssed in Cal's Wheaties...

Some of you guys get bent out of shape when anyone posts a lineup prediction or suggestion of a lineup that doesn’t include Jeffries in it. I love DJ. So it’s not like I suggest a lineup that doesn’t include DJ because I don’t like him or his game. That said, I hate to break it to you guys but DJ isn’t as good of a shooter that Quinones and Boogie are. I know that the staff loves Lester’s shooting ability. We needed outside shooting and Quinones was signed because he meets that need.

You are the only one I see here getting bent out of shape.

As usual.

So sensitive.

Dj’s biggest asset is his size and skill set. His shot has improved but he will play utility minutes across multiple positions. Think AA , a “glue” guy.

RE: Blackshear considering Memphis
There are 200 minutes a game per team.

If you divide that by 15 then you get roughly 13.33333333 minutes per player.

That's not the split.

Just saying.

They are under the impression Penny has been plotting and scheming to take the UofM job(duh) and since he was James HS coach he was able to be in Cal's meetings with James and took pointers from Cal's pitch to help take him from UK. What a bunch of babies

Playing in the ACC he averaged 15ppg and 7.5 rpg. Shot 50% from the floor.

He was the only real big on his team that got major minutes.

So they've gone from "Penny is paying players." to "Cal taught Penny how to recruit". The hubris of Kentucky fans is second to none. God forbid Cal just got beat at his own game.
