I assume App players will have to utilize the indoor facility only when walkthroughs start in a couple weeks.

That, and the outfield at the baseball stadium.

New turf installed. New mid-field logo (used to be a white block-A), new end-zone design, and progress being made on pulling the hill inward toward the field.

It's going to be quite a bit louder at The Rock now. When Troy added their endzone facility, the higher crowd noise was definitely noticeable.
It looks great.

No one really knows what's going on with the yellow (Pantone 116) vs what you see in the endzone which is more actual gold. Once they add the rubber pellets the gold should be muted some. But the sideline signage is apparently being replaced to match.

No worries. The sun will fade it lighter eventually. Just like Troy's cardinal logo wound up turning pink after 3 or 4 years.

That is a great looking upgrade to the stadium. Feels all grown up now. I remember how much it helped our stadium to remove the track.

Looking good! Will video and score board be moved closer with hill?

They had to dynamite the **** out of that place to get the board in there where it's at, doubt they move it.

It's nearly impossible to do it right across all mediums. Troy is the same way. If you have 5 different items, you have five different versions of Troy cardinal. That said, the endzone looks deeper and richer than what I'm used to seeing from you guys. I'm used to seeing more of a bright yellow.

Correct. It’ll stay where it is. The bottom and top of the hill will run parallel to the end zone back line. There will be a 40-50 ft wide concourse above it with the score board sitting in the back. It’s going to be ear-piercingly loud for those standing right in front of it. They could maybe raise it higher by extending the supports but it’s not moving anywhere.

The color in the end zone is what we are supposed to have. The original athletic gold we used starting in 1983 was Pantone 123 which was our official color until a few year ago. The switch to 116 was mostly due to our agreement with Nike.

We are twenty years behind. The University voted against football at the the turn of the new millennia. But then, we were under President Whiddon and AD Joe Gottfried. However, the University's academics and sports have come a long way, since it's birth in 1963, under their guidance.

Every administrator has their own priorities. It’s a beautiful thing when you have a president, AD, and coach who all share the same vision. Programs can do amazing things.
Our AD and coach are in sync, our chancellor kind of is, but she’s too in love with her own alma mater, Nebraska and keeps bringing them up whenever she can.
