I remember being at that Tennessee game, it mostly quiet till the 4th quarter, but it wasn't 100,000 people there. I remember Joey saying if we would have got a TD, we would went for 2.

Will we have the first football stadium in the conference with all LED lights (not counting USA with the new stadium which I'm assuming will be as well)? Not sure what everyone else is using. We DESPERATELY needed the upgrade, as I'm sure others have noticed. All of our athletic faciltiies have been updated to LED except soccer/track at this point I believe.

USA's will have light show effects and LED ribbon boards similar to Colorado States... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8OADejq3Eo https://www.coloradoan.com/videos/sports...782084002/ Gonna be cool for pre-game intros, half time, 4th quarter and concerts! Recruits should like the bling 04-cheers

I hope they don't go crazy with the lights. Went to a SEC stadium with LED lights and they flash them like crazy before every 3rd down before the ball was set.

Latest rendering of App State Kidd Brewer Stadium with new field design**. To the left the new north end zone facility with an on-field "patio" area/room to bring stands all the way down to field level. Current stands denoted by the dotted line. To the right the re-graded south end zone hill pulled in toward the field. The area above the hill will serve as a concourse level.

*the end zones will still sit a decent distance from the sidelines to provide more usable practice space which is scarce.

**Tweeted out by Moss Brennan of the Virginian Pilot and Ethan Joyce of the Winston Salem Journal.

Quite an improvement.

I think currently that Cajuns are down to one facility that really needs and upgrade and that's Cajun field but it will be costly. With the current situation with games and increased costs of operation and the economy I don't see this happening soon. I know they've done the due diligence but you have to have the revenue to have it make sense.

This sort of situation has made me realize how grateful most Troy fans probably are that all of our sports facilities have been upgraded before all of this. If that football endzone facility would've been pushed back another two years, we probably would've had to wait an extra decade for it.

I guess I'm glad we completed all the other upgrades. I could argue ours are the best in the belt for all the other sports. I think it's going to take some deep pockets somewhere. I don't want red turf, and I know it's been talked about unsuccessfully in the past, but Tabasco would be a great sponsor for the Cajuns.

I'm glad USA was able to get their stadium, basketball, and baseball while they could... If we didn't who knows how long we will be at Ladd.
