What bothers me more is Jaelene Hinkle, also of the USWNT, was forced to make a decision to wear a gay pride jersey in contradiction to her Christian beliefs or not play for the team. She chose principle, and I have not seen any of the oh-so-tolerant liberal/gay players voice support for her right to choose.

Hypocritical.

https://www.sbnation.com/soccer/2018/7/2...-interview

Hadn't heard about her. Note how the article uses the pejorative "homophobe."

"...Jaelene Hinkle is probably the best left back available to the United States women’s national team. The USWNT currently has an injury crisis at fullback. Hinkle is also vocally homophobic and trying to make a team that has a gay coach, several queer players, and a lot of LGBT fans...."

My niece was good enough to play on the boys team in middle school, but didn't want to play in college because of the lesbian culture.

Softball had that culture problem at first as well.

When I was in HS, all the assumed dykes (nobody was out of the closet) played softball and basketball. All the hot chicks with boyfriends played soccer and field hockey. Has this changed?

At a certain level of upper amateur/professional female sports, more, shall we say, masculine ladies, begin to dominate the ranks. A good portion of these more masculine ladies tend to like the company of the same sex, go figure!

One of the unique aspects of coaching women's rugby is that the forwards (equivalent to US football linemen) tend to be lesbians, while the backs tend to be straight. I've known straight forwards and gay backs, but not many. The backs tend to be dating guys on the men's team, and they get interested in playing from there. The forwards just love to beat the crap out of each other. I had a challenge because I wanted them to play the open, expansive, passing game that is played in the southern hemisphere, whereas most American coaches just teach rugby as football, beat the hell out of each other in the trenches.

My biggest challenge in that regard came when my 4 and 5, who have to bind together in the scrum, broke up their love affair.

Yeah, but against who?

After their 13-0 rout, articles started popping up about a 2017 practice match between the USWNT and a Dallas TX boys 15-U team.

The boys won.

Of course, we also had a few LUGs (lesbians until graduation). Several players who were very gay while playing for me have now married guys.

My rule was always, Your love life is none of my business, and it's your job to make sure it stays none of my business.

A scrimmage to just get out on the field & get more touches on the ball should not be compared to bringing your A game in a World Cup game in the least. The USWNT would probably demolish the USMNT.

Just shut up and play the futbol, that’s what you do. Otherwise you’ve got no “platform” or relevance whatsoever.

Another spoiled brat

This is just someone seeking attention... and Trump (and a few fools and the media) MAY give it to her.

As to the comments about Trump and his 'isms'... I agree. Most of what is attributed to him is some sweeping generalization... he's against illegal immigration especially by ms-13 members or similar, so in their minds he's against legal immigration and they're all criminals, so he's racist.
