VP Shick firing
From today's Seattle Times ..

https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-new...r-college/

Less than a year later, Shick was hired as vice president of Grand Canyon University, a private college in Arizona. Administrators didn’t know about the UW’s finding until being contacted by The Seattle Times on Friday, according to a university spokesman. The school put Shick on administrative leave, then fired him Sunday, the spokesman said.

RE: VP Shick firing
Strange. I've never heard of Shick or the "VP of Advancement" position that the article references. I'm mostly familiar with sports, though, so maybe it is an office outside of athletics? Either way, kudos for UW doing right by this student-athlete and getting rid of him. Also happy to hear he is no longer employed by GCU.
