Appears as though Lester & company are putting together a stellar recruiting class

Lester and Company are doing things much of this fan base gave up on after the Admiral.
I love to see it! WMU is a destination. The likes of Reed and Brown taking off is an anomaly and likely built on a selfish need for singular adulation.... good for them but don’t need that kind of mindset in the brown and gold. Reed going to MSU actually makes me laugh... MSU needs a self serving decent MAC level receiver? Hahahaha. I hope we destroy them this season.

Is this young man a 2019 class addition or a 2020 commit? Assuming 2019 but not sure.

WMU is a destination? Really? Come on, even the people on the board, who are the biggest fans WMU has, has to admit we are not a destination....as much as we would love to be. That's just not real.
Lester has done a great job of recruiting. Better than most on this board thought, including myself. Now I am waiting to be wrong about his coaching this team to a MAC championship, because recruiting well doesn't necessarily mean coached well.
As for transfers...
Reed and Brown are not an anomaly. They have lost a ton of players the last few years. However, that isn't indicative of anything other than WMU suffering what every other college program does. Attrition.

WMU is a legit path to the NFL. Not sure about destination but possible top tier G5 if we can convert the talent potential to results.
TL wasn’t left a bare cupboard to work with. Personally I didn’t think initially he was ready for prime time and would have to unfortunately learn on the job. He has yet to prove that wrong, as you could say he’s about -2 or 3 in games should’ve won. As for recruiting he and his staff had done an outstanding job picking up where the previous regime had left off.
Transfers are a reality and now more than ever for every program. I saw today that Penn St has 20 in the transfer portal! P5 kids not seeing the field are gonna try to start at G5. G5 kids tearing it up are gonna try to crack a P5 lineup. I don’t fault a kid for doing what coaches have been able to do forever.

I think WMU is a great place to be, Kalamazoo is a great college town. Good facilities, campus is beautiful. We have put a ton of kids in the NFL recently.

That was my point about destination. Great school. Great town. Great experience.
I think the staff is doing a great job getting guys to buy in and it seems they are targeting guys who really want to be Broncos! As said by others... let’s see if this staff can translate this talent to wins!

This makes me feel much better. Him and Bass give us two experienced guys to bridge the gap between Bellamy/Tucker and the freshmen.

Gives us some class diversity at the position as well. If one of the true freshman is good enough to play on special teams and more, you can burn a redshirt. And still have one or two others redshirt. Then you don't have to go crazy recruiting the RB position this season.
