RIP Forrest.
He had such a good, gentle demeanor on his broadcasts. But, at same time , listeners could sense his passion for Tigers sports.
We were fortunate to have had him for 20 years. I really enjoyed listening to him.

Even some UT fans respected him.
He was respected over that way too.

RE: Forrest Goodman RIP
the news was skimpy.
Said something to the effect that his wife had donated him a kidney...and he was taking anti-rejection drugs.
I am guessing there were complications with that.

I had my truck decked out in Tiger blue (as usual) in Collierville at Gurkins many years ago and met his mom as a result. Very sweet woman.

Prayers for his family and friends. Great people

Was out of town when this happened, and truly saddened to hear upon my return. Like many, I always tried to tune-in on the way to and from games. Loved his work.

Maybe in lieu of 'prayers' we could find out if the family needs money. Perhaps setup a GoFundMe and donate or in the very least, send flowers to the family. Something constructive, tangible.

"in lieu of" is not necessary
