You are joking, right? If they were talking out the coliseum, that would be too high. For football, waaay low.

You are a LaTech fan joking with that, right? When you can look up from under the bleachers at a university, you should be joking.

I think when we got off the bus on my first basketball trip to LT and saw the back/under of the bleachers, we laughed. The basketball facilities were much nicer than ours, I’ll give you that due. But we were shocked of how high school the football bleachers looked. #TrueStory

Jealousy is not a good look. Your stadium will get there one day, hopefully.

In my opinion, the Rock is better than the Joe.

RE: Ranking the CUSA stadiums (or is it stadia?)
The Rock is the quintessential southern college football stadium.
As far as amenities, im sure unt, Charlotte, and ODU when completed are the top in the league
Crowds, Marshall is definitely at the top with a couple others

So, its hard to say who is the best this or that. Too many factors

Who cares. It's just one person opinion on the best stadium. It was funny to see the Southern Miss. fans get their panties in a wad though. After that I had to troll a little. The "Rock" is a fine football stadium. The author of the article must've had a bad experience there.

It's not a very "modern" facility with all the bells and whistles of the the newer ones. Rice has the same problem.

I agree nothing special about USM stadium. I think the list is fairly accurate.

Some of these Southern Miss fans are little out of touch with reality. They also think they are going roll through the conference with a 6-5 team that lost to ULM and QB that struggles to throw over 30 yards

I've been to every current C-USA stadium, except ODU. I agree with very little on his list, but we're entitled to our opinion. My favorite C-USA stadiums are UTEP and North Texas. I think Marshall is in the middle of the pack (at best).

I know these lists are very subjective and fans of programs can be biased to some degree but the thing I noticed was how vague or limited his verbiage was on deciding where to rank the perspective stadiums.
Just not a lot there. 07-coffee3

RE: Ranking the CUSA stadiums (or is it stadia?)
These were caught in a photo by a visiting HS coach. Apparently we are showing these renderings off to new recruits. The AD claims they are old and not what will be in the facilities master plan report that will be released later this summer, but they are newer than anything we have seen before:

I expect to see final renderings released later this summer and movement on stadium upgrades following this football season. Mike Hill is not Judy. He knows we can't build a perennial contender with facilities that lag behind our competition. He has said multiple times that we field teams to win, and if we are not doing that, then what is the point? He gets it, which is probably why he has hired 6 new head coaches in his first 15 months on the job.

Is it just me or it truly looks that attendance was a factor in ranking these stadiums? Why?

RE: Ranking the CUSA stadiums (or is it stadia?)
I'd like someone to rank each of our stadiums based on the home teams winning percentage. That seems to reflect their real value when compare to the others in our conference. Appearance is nice, and amenities are great, but wins are what really matter to fans. Which stadiums provide their teams with the greatest home field advantage?

Hopefully after the renovations, ODU's stadium will be good enough to make the list (or at least get an honorable mention.)
