A grateful thank you
In general, I don't like posting personal info on boards. However, I want to thank this board. My 86 year old mother was admitted over a week ago to the hospital and I have been basically 16 hours in the room since then. I love college football and my Wolfpack. I was afraid I may never be able to watch another CFB game with her when I visit. If all continue as it has the past few days, it looks I will be blessed to have another season with her.

This board was the one thing that allowed my mind to be off things for a little bit during this week. At times people get out hands on this board, but this is one time I can say this board was here when I needed a little break when she slept. Thank you!

Best wishes to your mom. My mom is about the same age, and has been in and out of the hospital for the past couple of months, thankfully she's hanging in there all right.

Thanks for sharing, both of you will be in my prayers. As serious as things seem here sometimes it is only a pass time. Truly every day is a gift and we all should celebrate each of them!

Best wishes for you and your mom. The same for others here who have very elderly parents.

Godspeed to you and your mom. It’s awesome when moms are fans of college football.
