Somehow that doesn't surprise me... I'd 100% rather go to the Liberty Bowl to see us play St. Mary's School for the Blind than I would watch us play Texas on TV.

I agree, this year we're at South Alabama and at Louisiana Monroe. I don't think we're getting a million from those, and a win there doesn't really get us anything and a loss hurts bad. However, a million dollar game with a W at Arkansas, Texas, etc sure as hell would and if we lose, we take home $1,000,000 and everyone cheers about how we ain't afraid to play anybody anywhere.

I buy season tickets, 4 of them, but also attend some away games. I would prefer the drive to Fayetteville AR than to the LB from ATL to see Mercer, SEMO, UT- Martin, So IL etc & our under- financed program can sure use the $1M+ for such games.

Certainly easier to improve ranking vs Texas than it is vs Mercer, etc

Delta has several non-stops a day between NWA and ATL as well

35,000 people @ an average of $25* per ticket = $875,000. That's pretty close. Add in our newly acquired parking income...

* I say average because my season tickets cost $67 per game, and I know there are a lot of $10 seats sold.

I am not as certain about revenue flow as you seem to be. All I know for a fact is football revenue in 2017 was slightly over $7m or more than $1m per game in a seven game season. You stated that we only begin to see parking revenue this season if that is so that increases per game revenue. All I am trying to say is the $1m per buy game is not a monetary winner for the university, and does nothing for fans who like going to games.
