Seems odd the conference did no go ahead and list Boone for the football.

In all seriousness I think the conference does a good job of moving as much around as possible.

They mention doing it by bid but my guess is the bid amount is fixed and it's just whether you want to bid or not. I would think plenty of schools would lose money in hosting some of the events, especially if your team winds up not making it into the tournament.
