The SEC wants networks to have a "rules analyst" on staff
You've seen it in the NFL and other places.

Awful Announcing reports:


The SEC is now pushing for their network partners to have analysts that break down and comment on rulings in-game.

Interesting comments here:

Man is that ever true. I've found myself yelling at the set for the idiot misinterpreting a rule to just shut up! And it's not just on SEC telecasts, it's a malady at epidemic proportions with the talking heads ESPN provides.
