There was that 5th string QB who has been pimping himself out for 6 months now.

I think he ended up transferring to a juco or lower division school.

I assume you scanned the list pretty good. Do you think there are any intriguing possibilities from the portal who could end up at UAB next season?

Clark has hit the juco route pretty hard.

I would say that trumps a lot of portal transfers unless it was someone of course with at least 2 years left or closer to 3.

Sometimes the player who left town and wants to return home is an option.

Hate to see that about Allen Love. He would have helped to fill a need for DT depth. Oh well. I would have rather had him than Keith Mixon.

I have no inside knowledge on this, but based on past years I am expecting maybe one or two new players who will end up having an impact this season--whether they be senior transfers or juco players, or maybe last minute qualifiers. We have done well in the past finding a diamond in the rough who was available mid-to-late summer who has ended up playing a key role. I am hoping we maybe get an offensive or defensive lineman or two.
