Can visiting fans set up tents and tailgate in this grove area? Thanks
There maybe some spots left open that can be rented for the game. Not sure what the cost will be but available spots went for $100 in the past, so I would expect at least that amount. If you are able to get on for the game, you should receive 2 parking passes, have electricity for the spot and access to water.

The biggest take away from that report was the this season will be only the 3rd time since joining FBS with 6 home games part!
This actually makes me feel sorry for ULM fans!
At least one year we got screwed out of a 6th home game because of teams jumping conferences and we had to go back to back to Troy. It was their year to come to Monroe but the SBC balanced the conference on our back!! LOL
If the scheduling works out and the contract that is being rumored is worked out, we should start alternating 5 and 6 home games here on out.
So, y'all come visit and rent a spare tailgate spot. Bring some friends. We'll grill, drinks some beer and talk sh*t. Hell, I even fed some ULL fans catfish last year.
I say this as a fan of a school that dropped it's football program, but you guys joined FBS in 1994. After 25 seasons, there's not much difference between three versus four.
Well a lot of it has been driven by finances and needing that extra money game. When ULM (NLU) transitioned, they did so without a conference affiliation and you played 11 games, so that pretty much ruled out a 6th game. Getting into the SBC helped, but we got burned by teams jumping ship, others jumping in, etc. Just a price of doing business in a smaller conf. It didn't help that during the 90s we had what is probably the most incompetent president of a university that you could come up with (a guy with political connections) who damn near killed the university.....not sports, but the university. Next president had to get the financial house in order and correct the ship on academics. Bruno has continued with academics but didn't finally start giving the full amount he could to athletics until 2016.
