Yeah, written before Bowers transfer. Funny how optimistic they are for the season until the win total gets set at 7. May be accurate at 7 but will be great if we win at least one of the Power 5 games. The potential is there for more but will be a tough schedule.

No mention of Leroy. Also, I don't consider Robinson and Tucker speed guys. Article just filling space.

Yeah, Tucker is a possession guy and Robinson is a go up and get it guy. No real speed at all.

RE: CFN NIU Preview
He understates the impact of Smith and Corcoran's departure. Smith won a couple games himself. The defense will be very good, but the importance of a play maker is crucial. Can AJD do more this season and be that guy? The offense had zero play makers and we saw the results. Unless Nettles becomes a star, Bowers is gonna have to be that guy. Good news is if your QB is your playmaker, everyone gets better.

If healthy all year, I expect Pugh to have a huge season. With the Three stud DTs, he should be free to move to the ball.

I feel like Pugh has never reached his potential. Mostly due to injury. If he can stay healthy I think he can go beast mode.

Didn't click on link.

Fiutak knows more about women's shoes than he does about college football.

RE: CFN NIU Preview
Yea, CFN spent about 6 years in a row being completely wrong about how good NIU was. They'd start us at #80-#90 in consecutive years where we'd end up ranked or #40-#50 at worst.

I have been saying that for three years.

Love Pugh. He is the heart and soul of the defense.
