No, he played last year at SIU. I saw him on tv a few times he's very athletic and good be a good player for us. Does this mean his dad will be an assistant coach?

It sounds like he wasn’t on scholarship, so he should be immediately eligible. That, combined with Hinson leaving, leads me to think at the very least he should be able to get a waiver to play.

I'm surprised if he wasn't on scholarship. I remember him when he played at Carbondale. He was good and somewhat sought after. I wonder if they were playing around with money and scholarships since his dad was an assistant and did something funny with him where he was technically not on scholarship but wasn't paying for school because of his dad's position?
