RE: Make plans - Some game times announced
I have plans for a double header. Attending the Army/UM game at noon, then the WMU/MSU game at 7:30 on September 7. Delighted when the times were posted since I assumed I would be missing the Broncos. My son will be at the Army/UM game with the Corps of Cadets, and we planned to be there a while ago. I thought the best I could hope was being able to watch the bronco game on my phone, but the 7:30 start opens everything up. I'm stoked. My wife already complaining about too much in one day. Lol.

Thank you for the appreciation. He is a rising "Firstie" (senior), and right now is in field training at Camp Buckner. Just got off the phone with him; he's heading into the woods for ten days, and is a bit concerned about the cold and rain, but knows it's more opportunity to "embrace the suck" as they say at West Point.

He and and a big group of his buddies, including a large contingency of Cadets from Michigan, will be representing the Corps of Cadets during the Michigan game. My 88 year old mother will likely host some of them the night before. We will likely take a bunch out for dinner. Should be a ton of fun. Honestly, you can't believe how impressive those young men and women are. Army should have a good team again. Very potentially they may be ranked. Would be incredible if Army could beat Michigan. And then have WMU beat MSU for a nightcap.

Hmm, no home afternoon kickoffs yet. Is Homecoming vs Miami? My guess is that'd be a noon or 3pm game. (Homecoming's always a day game)

Hoping Central Michigan is also noon or 3pm.

Hopefully Central Michigan isn't Homecoming, as that'd mean it'd open the door to 2 potential afternoon kickoffs.

October 26 is at noon and Homecoming is on Oct. 12. Expect that one to be afternoon also. CMU game in Sept could go either afternoon or night.

Lol. I will gladly pay that tab. I love hanging with those kids.

Big tragedy today though, as a Cadet in my son's class died. My son is also at Camp Buckner, Natural Bridge), where it happened at the same training, but fortunately (we found out only two hours ago) was in a different platoon. I was on the phone with one of my son's roommates all day trying to figure out if he is safe. My kid is in the field, but someone sent us a text saying he is ok. Heartbreaking for his classmates family though.

What is your connection to West Point, Beat Navy? I love the handle BTW!

Outstanding! Congrats, and give him a pat on the back for me. Go Army! Beat Navy!
