UNBELIEVABLE
But I don't think the Dude could dance that well
Now all those pretty purple lights r fabulous, that's what I experience on a large time in west Memphis
If Memphis loses to old mis, we'll rent a bus and for a mere 25.00 u too can experience this but, I can't
Guarantee you'll see purple, some Dudes see red, blue, green, one Dude saw flashing lights, swore a cop was after him. However, a good time was had by all, well maybe not the one leprechaun who just had to come a long.
Some lady's spiked heel stepped on him. He was pissed, but o.k.

I was just reading about the chemical addiction cycle today

One of the worst 'drug' addictions is rage--produced right in the ole human body.

The more ragers rage, the more they need to rage to get to that same level of 'high'.

It's like maddog brain chemistry. The brain just keeps creating 'slots' where the rage chemicals can go...Slots need filling... More rage has to be manufactured. More slots get created... ugh

Talk about your bad trend. lol It's one of the reasons some dogs get euthanized.

Why do so many assume he drug out the recruiting process? Supposedly Mike Miller is a family friend? I would lean towards a higher likelihood that all the staffs knew when he signed and that they kept quiet too. Why wouldn't they? The only people who held hope he might commit to a college were the fans... And mostly KU fans the way it turned out

Well, that family friend bs didn't pan out.

In fact, 3 strikes.

But one of those contracts don't mean squat unless you take money.

No way any coach should lead his team's fans to believe a recruit is coming that they know for a fact isn't.

No way.

No way Penny knew or he wouldn't have kept up the charade.

let's see...off hand, I can think of one reason. 1.It's those dang Rejection issues. lol People like to find something wrong with anyone who turns them down...including a recruit who doesn't choose their school.

Quote:Five-star guard R.J. Hampton revealed he signed his contract with the NBL's New Zealand Breakers a month before he announced his decision to forgo the NCAA.

In a video for Bleacher Report, Hampton discussed the moment he knew he would not play college basketball but play overseas. He talked about not telling anyone and sticking to naming his top three choices when he was asked about possibly going out of the country to play.

Quote:Hampton, who previously reclassified from the 2020 class to 2019, considered Kansas, Memphis and Texas Tech. He announced his decision to skip a college season on Tuesday. The 6'5" Hampton, from Little Elm (Texas) High School, was No. 5 in the 247Sports composite ranking of the 2019 recruiting class.

Oh well. I hope things work out for him.

Seriously though, we do not as a fan base have to wish kids that crap on us good luck.

If it makes you feel good great, but those kids don't give af what you or I think. Period.

Memphis Tiger players maybe but not kids that whiffed on us.

Good grief.

Why wish bad things on anyone when it comes to a game? With all the evil in this world, why do some people take this stuff so seriously? Boggles my mind.

This has nothing to do with not choosing Memphis. It has everything to do with playing a bullsh game and stringing a long a lot of people and costing hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of months with people flying him around, flying out to see him, recruiting him, etc. etc. when he knew he wasn't going to college.

I don't care if he is a teenager (which usually I do) because even a teenager knows right and wrong and if he felt comfortable (especially with his little laugh about people asking him and him just naming the same 3 schools) doing what he did, that makes him a first class d-bag.

I didn't say that.

We don't owe them insults but we sure don't owe them praise.

If somebody wants to hate on them, I sort of get it.

If this was a Lawson how would you feel?

See?

And I never got the hate for the Lawson boys.

At least they actually played for us.

Karma will either get him or it it won't. He's beyond our reach now. Might as well move on.

I'm not a fan of the practice, but this stringing coaches and fans along stuff has been happening for years. Money and 'gifts' and other enticements are given to players. Players make promises. Families make promises. Not going to mention names. But I don't understand why everyone is so up in arms.

This time overseas was in the mix. It added a whole new aspect to the joyride.

I have heard the whales scream how they got bamboozled by a player--one they knew was coming till the last second...when he didn't.

That's why we all keep reminding each other......Recruiting is fluid.

Three words were never more true than those.
