RE: Full C-USA Broadcast Schedule
As a chord cutter, I really like Marshall’s broadcast schedule.
8 easily streamable games.
Also of note. If we’re to go by the criteria that CBS Sports had first crack at our content, then Stadium/Facebook...Marshall was the clear far and away most popular pick.
There are 11 CBS Sports/Facebook and Stadium/Facebook games picked for Marshall.
The next closest was North Texas with 6.
I’m not saying we have the best broadcast schedule, just pointing out that the companies who choose content overwhelmingly picked Marshall.
I would have liked to get on at least one NFL Network game.

I’ll take Charlotte tv schedule. I’ll be at seven and can stream the other five.

RE: Full C-USA Broadcast Schedule
It's nice to see the breakdown for each team. For me, here is the best:
North Texas- I actually love UNT's. All of our games got chosen before ESPN+ but 2, including 5 linear. And since I'll hopefully be at the ACU game, I should only need to purchase ESPN+ the one time for the Charlotte game. Every other game is part of my cable or free on Facebook.
Rice- FOUR CBSSN games!? And a NFL Network home game. Only 3 ESPN+ games is great too.
USM- 3 NFL Network games. The only downside is the 6 ESPN+ games but at that point, enough of them are there to justify the cost.
I don't understand the hate for Western and Charlotte by the networks. Especially Charlotte who is in a great TV market. Western with only 1 linear game (maybe) is disrespectful.

I don't see ESPN+ as being a negative, considering how much CUSA fb/basketball/baseball is shown on it. Also, I love UFC/MMA.

Anything is better than being on CUSA.tv and BeIN. I like our tv schedule this year.

RE: Full C-USA Broadcast Schedule
I'm not up to speed on this. What's the tv network pecking order for getting dibs on CUSA games (or games involving CUSA teams)?

Just from reading these boards....
CBS Sports
CBS Sports Facebook
Stadium
Stadium Facebook
ESPN Networks
ESPN +
NFL Network
This is not a confirmed order, just what I’ve seen and read in discussions about how this crazy crazy broadcast contract seems to be set up.

So Stadium Facebook gets to choose BEFORE the almighty ESPN? That seems odd.

It absolutely is odd. But Stadium paid for those rights.

We don't have a deal with ESPN linear networks. Only ESPN+. Pretty sure ESPN+ picks last since they're the only partner without a linear element to the deal. I could be wrong since NFL Network came in late but next year I'm pretty sure that's how it will go.

From everything I have found online, that's correct. At least for a while. The CBSSN deal is "multi-year" but doesn't give how many years.

Full C-USA Broadcast Schedule
ESPN + is a sham. I'm already paying for a ton of bs networks I don't watch via cable. Now I'm getting charged more for channel content I'm already paying for. The fact they took ufc off tv and onto this crap platform is bad enough. Now they are taking stuff off ESPN 3
Is it like Netflix where you can share ,,? Cuz if so I'm gonna get like 20 people to share an account to counter this garbage nickel and diming for tv

Based on where the best games ended up, this order looks right to me.
Also... Just when we are ready to give MacLeod a little credit for doing something right, we find the flaw in her work. The NFL Network should have had first choice. But, I can't complain too much... North Texas only has 2 games (both bad) scheduled to appear on the abomination known as espn+.

I don’t either, hope players see the snub...I do like ESPN + over Bein, and anything on Facebook , so I guess not all is lost..

ESPN is great for people who have cut the cord. I do think ESPN plus should be included in a cable package If you pay for the extra sports package.
I am a bit confused though because I thought ESPN3 was gone when ESPN+ came out.

Why? CBS and Stadium are the two partners paying for our content. NFL Network is simply exposure with no dollars. Meanwhile, we are essentially paying (self-production) for the ESPN+ productions. Why would the deal paying nothing get preference over the partners who are actually giving us what TV money we have?
