RE: Joe Brady
Joe Burrow looks about 20x better than he did last year, will be fun to follow Brady's career

RE: Joe Brady
Brady's rep continues to grow. #4 LSU with 199 passing yards and 28 points in 1st quarter alone at a not good Vandy, but still SEC play. Tied for most 1st quarter points in LSU history. W&M continues to be mentioned by default.

RE: Joe Brady
Why wasn't he coaching here the previous two years? Where was he then?

Okay, yeah, he wouldn't leave there to come here. What about before that? I'm sure Jimmye could have gotten him as OC at some point.

He was our LB coach for a bit, then left to go to Penm State.

RE: Joe Brady
Young, offensive-minded coaches are all the rage right now; next step for Joe is NFL OC, then hopefully HC thereafter.

Wouldn’t it be offensive coordinator at a college team first? He’s not the top OC at LSU.

He's been with NO Saints so the next step should be NFL OC.

He still hasn't paid his dues yet. It's possible he parlays his LSU publicity into an OC at the college level, but he has yet to hold a coaching leadership position yet at any level. He was simply an offensive assistant with the saints - not even a position coach. He is a wide receiver coach for lsu. That isn't to say that he isn't a hell of a coach, but there is no way an NFL team makes him an OC with no real resume.

Unless he can show he had dinner with Sean McVay at some point. Then the NFL will hire him immediately.

Awesome article on Brady and his meteoric rise. Talk of his W&M roots with lots of quotes from football alums.

He's going to get a P5 OC job here real soon and no reason he can't land a NFL coordinator position with 5 years. HC at the FCS level is below him, at this point.
