Update: Army game kickoff at 2:30p, all other homes games at 5p.

I'm cautiously optimistic right now about the upcoming season. I think our offense will be improved, and think we'll have a shot at going .500. Increased my season ticket count from 3 to 5 since I'm married now with kid, but moved to the visitors side of the field to save a bit of money to be able to make that happen.

So far I'm only confident about UIW, fUTEP and Rice. I'll need to start paying attention more to what's going on at practice this year to get a better feeling for the other games.

This is my first move. I'm hoping Frank Harris will come through for us, but mostly, I'm feeling much better about our new OC. The 24-21 loss to UNT with Kastl as OC was an encouraging way to close out the season after we lost the 3 previous games against Marshall, FIU, and UAB by a combined 120-10.

JJ posted the kickoff times on Twitter.

The Army games starts at 2:30p. The other 5 home games start at 5p.

I'm good with the 5p kickoff times. I think anywhere from 3-6 would be acceptable.

I'm happy these times too. Give us time for a full day of tailgating before every game. The UIW and Army games will be great atmospheres.
