Remember that there are posts from the lefties on here saying it was Papodoupolos that caused the start of the investigation. Wrong. It started 6 months earlier than that.

A name that will start popping up like a bad herpes rash is Samantha Power. She started unmasking like crazy, but not because she was spying on Trump, at least initially. Samantha Power wanted to to help the palestinains against israel. So she was unmasking american citizens caught up in surveillance who were meeting with officials dealing with helping israel. This later transformed into spying on Trump, but it was originally done by Obama/Valerie Jarrett in order to see who was trying to push pro-Israel measures, and be able to harpoon those efforts in order to aid Palestine.

I'm not sure any other effort could lead directly to Obama (although it should), but this one definitely would.

She was born in Iran, but not to Iranian parents. Her parents were Americans over there for work. Wikipedia says that DNA testing says she is 49% European, 46% African, and 5% Native American ancestry, and that sounds about right.
