That we get him ... the Texas ties are awful strong. And I think the "Uncle in Memphis" thing might be overstated. I could be wrong, and hope I am. The staff has surprised me more than once.

The best recruiting writers (who have a P5 bias) think Brown is a medium Texas lean. KY can’t get everyone. Saw a dream scenario for them from a knowledgeable KY fan (is that a oxymoron?) and Brown wasn’t listed. They have committed some good dudes. Duke is knocking it out too.

1. No, I never was given the impression we had a real shot at Hurt. We wanted him, but no...
2. I am not saying we are landing Brown, it is way too early for that, only that we are a real player for him and he has a lot of interest.
