Tailgating 2019
Has anybody started preparing/planning for tailgate season?
If so, what's new? Any changes, updates, moves, tips,etc....?
I wish I could say I have some exciting new things this year but I don't. My number one priority should be to replace worn out gear.
I'm probably going to set up some of the stuff in my back yard and look everything over. The bbq trailer needs a good cleaning and I need to make a few adjustments to my canopies.
I'll probably throw out some rickety chairs.

New Alamodome Parking Lot options for 2019:
In case you haven't seen this info already, there will be a new option starting this year to be able to park in an area where there will be no tailgating.
"New for 2019, there will be a distinct area in the southeast corner of Lot B with NO tailgating allowed. If you do not tailgate at any games and would like to park separate from any tailgaters, please request a pass for this specific area."

I will be doing some canopy repairs. One was broken pretty good at the Spring Game and another somehow got a big tear in the top.
A few additions like always but nothing big (yet).

I did a couple repairs to one of my canopies over the Memorial Day weekend but it still needs more. It was one of those $125 UTSA canopies from Walmart. I liked it because it was light weight but it's not the most durable.

RE: Tailgating 2019
We've made/plan on making big upgrades.
- Bought a trailer to haul our gear (this will make life much easier).
- Planning to expand from 9 to 12 tents. We used this setup once last year and it was great. Had a separate dining area with tables and chairs that worked well.
- Generator - for a TV and whatever else we decide.
- Bought more parking passes to expand out footprint.
Looking forward to the season.

The generator has been tested and is still good to go.
