I'm thinking that the "off the court" remark wasn't necessarily getting at anything directly team related (e.g. not being players' buddy off the court, or whatever), but rather may have referred to some degree of dissatisfaction with Tony in the donor relations/fundraising end of things. For what (admittedly little) it's worth.
