Has The ACC Reached The Summit?
I don't know who these guys are but they seem to think the ACC has become the best all around conference. Its hard for me to disagree with them. I like them already.

Best basketball conference with 1 dominant football program per year recently (CLEMSON/FSU) that wins the Title and spurs articles like this.

For myself, the ACC will have reached their potential summit when they have at least three football programs (instead of just one) vying for an NC most years like they do right now in basketball.

It is doable with the likes of FSU, Clemson, Miami, VT, and GT in the mix, but we aren't there yet.

Cheers,
Neil

Summit, no. Light years ahead of where it was in the year 2000, yes.

The ACC is a missed FT away from holding the titles in the 3 biggest NCAA sports, with Notre Dame women's just missing a repeat title.

The baseball tourney will be interesting to watch. There are some title contenders in the conference here too.

Most conferences have just one (realistically) other than the $ec.....and even that is just Alabama....for the MOST part.03-yawn
