This actually happens alot. As NFL free agent veterans become available college free-agents get pushed aside. Ubosi was "replaced" by veteran NFL free agents at his position both times.
They may get picked up by another team where it may happen again. Its a "process" (dreaded word) and college FAs just have to bear with it until get find the right team and get to the end where they either make the team or are offered a practice squad position. Obviously it really helps to make strong early impressions, though, as Tre Crawford seems to be doing with the Falcons.

Somehow, I doubt he would have waived his chance to be on a championship team just because of cold weather.

I hope Ubosi does find a place to play. But, he was very inconsistent over his two years in the UAB program. Inconsistency in the NFL will get you cut quickly. I hope he can find that consistency to go along with his big-play ability.

He may have to prove himself in Canada or the new XFL first. I think his upside is incredible but bush is dead on...... Twice....lol

Bucs fan so I'm excited about this move. Jameis is terrible throwing deep balls, but Arians loves them so I'm hopeful. Bucs new coach is the guy that helped JJ Nelson blow up.
