It's not often that a school gets their entire infield in the first team. It's been an impressive season for New Mexico State.

I do think coach of the year probably should have gone to the Cal Baptist coach.

CBU, six players named.
UTRGV, two players named.

And yet UTRGV had the same 19-8 conference record as NMSU and CBU. Since they don't seem to think our players had much to do with it, it stands to reason it must be our coach.

Right?

Cal Baptist competed with a roster that played division 2 a year ago. Rio Grande has been D-1 for awhile.
