They wouldn't have a choice. It's being bundled with all the other ESPN channels. What having Texas does is give us the instate rate of $1 ish a household instead of the out of state rate of 25 cents ish a household.

Is that just in the state of Texas, or are they doing that in other states as well? And is it true for every provider/streaming service?

It's the same for every state. That's why an ACCN became viable when we added Pitt and Cuse. As far as I know the ACCN is being bundled with the ESPN channels on all the streaming services that carry them just like the cable companies.

As far as I know, I only get ESPN1 and ESPN2 from Spectrum now. I have never had ESPNU, +, News or any other ESPN channels. Those were a separate bundle I opted not to sign up for. Are you saying I'm now going to be paying for all those channels I don't want? Or that I am already and just didn't know it?

I'd have to consider cutting the cord, but it sounds like that wouldn't make much difference anymore. Is there no escaping the mouse?

They're offered in Raleigh too. I just don't want them, just like I don't want the ACCN. I'm not thrilled with Spectrum at all. The service was much more reliable with Time Warner. I never experienced an outage with TWC. Now it happens several times a month. And I usually have to wait several minutes after turning on the box before I can change channels. I'm getting tired of seeing a black screen with the words "please wait".
