I'd imagine set times and no more choosing. Coaches will probably vote at during summer meetings whether to put the No. 1 at 4 p.m. or 7:30.

You're not going to start the games any earlier ... that's just tournament life.

You still on start time?

You’re the 10 seed, up by 6 on the 1 seed. Y’all should start every game 2 and a half hours late . . .

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m starting to get a bad feeling about this one . . .

Terrible call on a missed bunt that started the scoring for ULM. Clearly effected us mentally and we haven't been able to recover. ULM's starting pitcher also pitching a great game so far. Not our night for sure.

Lewis opens the 7th by plunking a ULM batter . .. . that’s one way to keep from giving up a hit . .

Through 6, we have 2 hits, so yeah, ULM’s pitcher is gettin’ it done . . .

that, or the time change, coupled with the late start, just F ed with everyone’s timing at the plate .. .

I'm not crediting the time change for our poor batting so far. Only because ULM is experiencing the same situation. The time change will effect both of us moving forward in the tournament though.

Hey, we’re down 6, it’s late . . I’m reaching here . . .

Though I think someone might want to investigate where our guys had their pre-game meal . . . wouldn’t put it past those South Carolinians to “food poison” our guys . .. jus’ sayin’

Lewis drives in 2 ULM runs by plunking back to back ULM batters. . .

. . . and Harrington opts for a pitching change, go figure . . .

I've seen us come back from some tough positions, but I just don't think it's in the cards tonight. Going to have to win the rest of our games to have a chance at post season play...

Bradford stops the Bobcat bleeding. Cats head to their half of the 8th, trailing by Only 8 . . . .

You can use this logic but you guys hosted a few years back, voluntarily chose the late start time, and got screwed by weather forcing a doubleheader.

Coastal is the first host in years to not take the late game. A wise decision that many a good teams have refused to make

A wise decision? Didn’t they lose in that earlier time slot? I guess if the point was to lose and still manage to get in a good night’s sleep, then yeah wise.

Don’t say that! I know that after such a disappointing defeat, your mind tends to go to dark places . . . . trust me, we’re still capable of worse than what you witnessed tonight . . .

I'm sure we are, but can you name another game we've played so far where we looked that bad? Offense, defense, and pitching were all terrible. We didn't look anything like the regular season champ, top 50 RPI, or a 30+ win team.
