GS wins 6-5 in 13

Nothing like a 4 hour game

Cajuns season in a game. Hit, but follow with bad pitching. Pitch, but can't hit.

I had a decent drive from Knoxville to Nashville this afternoon. I started listening in the 6th inning. This game got me almost all the way to my hotel. haha

Well, Texas State and ULM are going to have to burn the midnight oil.

This is bs. The #1 seed shouldn't be disadvantaged by having to start their game at 10pm. They need to push the game to tomorrow at this point.

Coastal drops a heartbreaker to UTA, 9-8! Congrats to the Mavericks for moving on. We are in the losers' bracket which sums up our season nicely...

10:19 EST first pitch for the ULM/TXST game. I always find myself feeling sorry for the ESPN+ announcers during this tournament. Those poor guys started the first game today at 9am EST.

Historically the #1 seed gets to pick when they play, right?

The hosting team does. Not sure if the 1 seed gets next pick after that or not.

No, they keep the sides of the bracket together with the times.

This probably won t be an issue going forward as the tourney moves toMontgomery. I assume the 1 seed whoever it is will play the 4 o clock game

So the last game starts 2 and a half hours after it was originally scheduled. The 3 hours allotted for each game is just isn't enough.

I expect another tight one against ULM too. Hard to beat a team 4 times in a season.

T 2nd, we give up 6 runs. Now batting in B 2, trailing by 6. This one may already be over . . .

ULM loads the bases T 3rd, we manage to escape the inning without surrendering anymore runs.

Bobcats taking their hacks, B 3rd, still down 6.

T 4th, Bobcats make a pitching change, Lewis for Fraze.

You're not going to start the games any earlier ... that's just tournament life.

Down to our final 12 outs, still trailing by 6 . . . .

That “impressive” number 1 seed doing us a lot of good . ..

. . . guess we should’ve remembered to bring our bats.
