UTA Loses Twice; Little Rock Goes Ahead Of The Mavs
Unless I've missed something on how things work, Little Rock appears to have sewn up the #3 seed in the tournament next week, regardless of the outcome in the third game in Jonesboro tomorrow. The Trojans are currently 17-11 and UTA, which has finished its regular season, is 17-12. So due to Little Rock taking the series against UTA in Arlington, the Trojans hold the tie breaker even if they stumble tomorrow and also end up 17-12.

Have our Trojans ever finished this high in the standings? Not in my memory anyway!

Not sure. A win today would get a record for the most conference wins in a season. We have only been over .500 in SBC play three times: 2000, 2016, and 2018.

I think you are right. Even if USA wins today and we lose, we still have the better winning percentage.
