It wasn't easy, but the Trojans squeezed out a 2-1 victory in Jonesboro tonight in 11 innings. Makes the Trojans 16-11 in conference and .500 overall.

Anybody know.why Chase Coker wasn't in the lineup tonight?

Congrats to you guys. I guess you can understand how disappointed we are after such a strong start this year. I hear changes are coming for us. I hope that's the case. We need to step up our game.

Don’t know why Chase didn’t play. He didn’t play in UCA game on Tuesday either.

Ironic that the Swine's refusal to play in-state teams for so long put them in a position where someone else grabbed this distinction first.

We used 2 pitchers, so everybody is still available. Problem is, asu used only 2 pitchers. We gave up 0 earned runs. That was a fun game. UTA beat Texas State, too.

This program is getting a little momentum that we haven't had in almost 20 years.

If we can win 2 of the next 3, it will be the first time in history that have had back-to-back .500 seasons AND winning seasons in the SBC.

Was he ejected from a game? If so, he would have to sit out several games wouldn't he? I'm not sure what the college penalty for ejection is.

Coker did end up playing in the last game in Jonesboro. His absence from the line up earlier remains a mystery, at least to the public. And programs being closed mouthed about player injuries, discipline, etc. is pretty much par for the course in college athletics!
