Transfers
One national guy questioned if Mussellman's strategy of building a program with transfers would work in the SEC as well as it did at Nevada. I guess we'll find out quickly as he signed 2 graduate and 1 regular transfer.

I wouldn't mind if Darrell could bring in a decent graduate transfer for next season. Not sure if we have a scholarship left or not. As we found out this year, with Rayjon, there is no an added risk of bringing in regular transfers. They sit for a year- so you pay for two years of scholarships to get them on the court and then they may leave as a graduate transfer.

Speaking of Rayjon. I have heard that he has a bunch of hours to pass this summer to be eligible at Memphis. I can't see our tutors spending time helping him with him announcing he is leaving. My wife believes that goes against our being "all about the student-athlete". Whatever. Maybe I'm being passive-aggressive, but I sure wouldn't have the tutors we are paying helping him to get eligible at another school. I see him playing in the G-league or in Europe next season.

I agree. Memphis is loaded with their top 5 recruiting class. They could use him but he won’t be the show piece he was here. I agree on the tutors, if he wants to be in Memphis let Memphis get him eligible. Spend our time and money on kids who want to play for Little Rock

RE: Transfers
I would guess if Memphis is offering him a scholarship Memphis would do what it needs to get him eligible. On the other hand, LR needs Rayjon to graduate for apr purposes. It doesn't matter what school he graduates from as long as he graduates.

Who knows. Maybe that's why he chose Memphis. They could send a tutor over to Little Rock a couple of times a week- no idea if that would be legal or not. My son (KU alum) wanted him to go to KU. I actually was interested to see how he would do in the Big 12. But, like you said, while he might be a good player at Memphis, he likely won't stand out like he did here. I also now wonder if his eligibility questions led KU and others back off from guaranteeing him a scholarship- They would have to hold one, for him, until early to mid-August.
