Led by Arizona and Arizona State, who have soured on Larry Scott's "leadership" and lack of televised games, an announcement out of Tempe confirms the re-creation of the Border Conference.

This will be a first rate Basketball and Football Conference - all teams are moving to a better league, which will enhance playoff and tournament chances.
TTU coach Chris Beard remarked "The upgrade in competition will help us to win the National Title.
