At this point, I'd go along with that. :) :)

Too old but certainly a great choice in the interim.

I disagree. And don't think Allie wants the job on a permanent basis anyway.

Go young. We have some ex Assistant AD at Memphis, now ADs elsewhere.

Wren Baker at North Texas. Mark Alnutt at Buffalo.

I forgot about Alnutt. Bring that guy right back here. Good choice as well.

I think we paid a pretty decent buyout to get Alnutt out of his SEMO AD contract. Over 100K, if memory serves.

One would think that as well as we are doing in both football and basketball that it would be a fairly desirable job.

I hope our next AD continues to focus on football as well as basketball. Both programs have progressed well. Let's keep this train rolling.

I think Allie has been offered and declined the job before. He certainly would not want it at 71 years old.

Goodman is just becoming a huge Memphis troll, because he's found it generates follows/likes/hits.

Unless they hire RC back anyone that they hire should realize that.

RE: Bowen BOH
At least we can thank Bowen for the great non-conference schedule he set up for us to fondly remember him.

At South Alabama and at Louisiana-Monroe this year.

But Bowen made up for it with that killer home OOC schedule next year, 2020, when we welcome Arkansas State and UT Martin to the Liberty Bowl.

If that doesn't excite you, our home OOC opponents in '22 are Arkansas State, North Texas and South Alabama. Buy those tickets now!

At Arkansas State and at North Texas in '23.

Gets better, at Georgia State and at Troy in '25. Can already hear Tigernole posting how we'll have a lot of recruits in Atlanta for the game at Ga. State in '25.

I would like to thank Tom Bowen for the fantastic job he did while here.

As I think back to the reign of terror wrought by RC the buffoon for 20 years, how lucky we were to have had someone who actually knew what to do, how to do it, and actually did it.

Thanks Tom and good luck to you!

That National Championship game in San Antonio was pretty terrible. How did we survive his reign of terror?

Just because RC was below average and had bad hair doesn't mean Bowen was better. Unfortunately, Bowen doesn't interview well, or he would have been gone a long time ago.
