Tip of Huskie cap to men's tennis
Yes, the NIU men's tennis team did come up short in the MAC Tournament Championship losing 4-3 to Western Michigan, however, still think these guys deserve a tip of the old Huskie hat.

The semifinal in which No. 3 seed NIU beat No. 2 seed Buffalo by a 4-2 score was coach Patrick Fisher's 150th career win. Huskies were No. 3 seed based on finishing third in the regular season standings.
In addition, here's some more achievements by Fisher's men's tennis program:

1 --- Clinched eighth straight winning season.
2 --- Five of the last eight years NIU Men’s Tennis has either won a conference title or lost in the tournament final.
3 --- Seven of the last eight years NIU Men’s Tennis has finished third or higher in the conference standings.
4 --- NIU Men’s Tennis has the second most All-MAC Selections in the MAC Conference over the last eight years.
5 --- NIU Men’s Tennis has more Academic All-MAC selections than any other MAC School over the last eight years.
6 --- NIU Men’s Tennis has been recognized for the eighth straight year by the ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) as an ITA Academic Award winner having a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above.
7 --- NIU Men’s Tennis was just recently recognized for having a perfect 1000 APR (Academic Progress Rate) for a MAC league-leading fifth year in a row and tied for first among all NIU sport programs.

Yes, that's definitely praiseworthy. I didn't even know they had done that well recently.
