RE: The Realignment Mock Draft
I would do MVC and keep Northern Iowa, Missouri State, Illinois State, Indiana State and Southern Illinois. My 1st move would trade Evansville, Valparaiso, Loyola-Chicago and Bradley to Horizon for Youngstown State and Drake to Summit for South Dakota. I think with the issue with the CAA and other conferences that have none football schools should look to trade non-football schools to other conferences for football schools. We have plenty of non-football D1 conferences.

I'll go with Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Minnesota, Oregon State and Washington State.

Minnesota will go... they have great numbers pretty much all around, especially academic and financial.

But if the Big 10 and Big 12 don't take them, they're on an island. Geographic congruity is supposed to play a part in constructing conferences, and if the ACC, SEC and Pac 12 GMs play by those rules, Minnesota is a bridge too far.

The flaw In the draft though would be if the Big10 or 12 left out Mini, the MAC or any G5 league would take them.

My perfect MAC would be an academic improved league with DECENT football.
