Couldn’t agree more! The last several years Saddi’s been the guts of Michigan recruiting. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if he’s considered for the position.

The timing kind of sucks for all involved. Michigan lost a lot of players to the draft this year. Wonder if the incoming recruits are going to get a release to look else where. Whoever Michigan chooses is going to have a challenging year next year.

I have to believe that Saddi and Luke Yaklich are both going to be considered, but at this point in where the UM program is, I believe they will be hard pressed to hire a non-experienced/sitting head coach.

Interestingly enough, I read that both Saddi and Luke had contracts that expire on April 30 and no new deals had been signed.

Not saying anything at all will or should happen, but if there were a perfect storm to bring him home it may be a new head coach coming into UM, potentially with assistant coaches in mind, and Saddi without a contract late in the coaching search season......

True but it seems Beauregard has already made her decision whether to bring Hawkins back for another year or not and would be unlikely to change because of what has happened in Ann Arbor.

This seems like the perfect time for a coaching change. We're in a rebuilding phase and Hawkins seems to have gone stale.
