We've been pretty fortunate with avoiding injuries so far this year, but Hubbard and J Williams are set to miss their 2nd straight games today. Two of the top hitters (if not the top 2) in the lineup. Hopefully we can find a way to win without them today and hopefully they'll be back for UTA next weekend.

Williams' backup at 2nd was hitting .000 going into yesterday's game. Gives you an idea how much he's played this year (very very little).

The Jags beat App State 5-4 in a game that was definitely a battle. Good game Mountaineers.

App did what only 2 other teams have been able to do this season, score an earned run off of Zach Greene. Very good game.

Mavericks defeat Coastal 6-3 to earn a split of our two game series. This was the first time ever that UT Arlington got a baseball win over the Chanticleers. What a great program CC has had!

B 8th, Bobcats holding a 3 run lead 9-6 over LR.

T 9th Newman leads off with a HR, makes it 10-7 TXST.

Bobcats plate 4 in their half of the 9th, take a 6 run lead into the B 9th.

Bobcats win 13-9 over LR, avoid the sweep, and get back on the winning track.

We officially managed to go from 1st to 11th in 5 weeks

South is probably the best-hitting team in the conference. A lot of homers, but they also executed the squeeze really well and capitalized off mistakes.

App could have won on Friday and Sunday with better defense. In fact, a dropped diving catch (ruled a hit, but it should have been an error) with two outs directly led to a 3-run homer in the next AB.

I feel like we're fading. Our starting pitching isn't getting the outs they were and we don't have the power hitting to keep up.
