Oklahoma/Georgia line up H&H
https://fbschedules.com/oklahoma-georgia...ll-series/

Quote:Oklahoma now has home-and-home series scheduled against eight teams from the Power Five — UCLA (2019; first game was in 2018), Tennessee (2020, 2024), Nebraska (2021-22; 2029-30), LSU (2027-28), Georgia (2023, 2031), Michigan (2025-26), Alabama (2032-33), and Clemson (2035-36).

The Sooners are also scheduled to play at Army in 2020 in the second game of a home-and-home series that began in 2018.

Georgia has home-and-home series scheduled against five teams — Notre Dame (2019; first game was in 2017), Oklahoma (2023, 2031), UCLA (2025-26), Florida State (2027-28), and Clemson (2029-30, 2032-33).

Prefer to see Nebraska/Oklahoma and Georgia/Clemson every year but this is a good consolation.

Absolutely. I'd like to see Nebraska play an annual "Heritage Series" game against a Big 8 school each year, preferably with a lot of Oklahoma games.

Good to see. Eight years is a long time to wait for a return game, but we needed a quality non-conference home game in 2023. I wonder if Georgia is getting some considerations for agreeing to a series with eight years between games. Plus, TV contracts will end during this time period, and a new round of conference realignment will possibly kick in. It is quite possible that OU will be a member of a different conference when the Sooners visit Athens in 2023.

Since Joe Castiglione became athletic director (and since Bob Stoops became coach), OU has played home-and-homes with Washington, Oregon, UCLA (twice), Alabama, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Florida State, Miami, and Ohio State. As mentioned in the press release, it is good for traditional powers to play each other. Our fans like to travel to these venues. In addition, these games make the season ticket package much more attractive.
