Pizza Guy talks Football
They had a guest speaker at their team meeting today. Alex got a picture taken with Tom Monaghan.

Regardless what you think about his political or social agenda, he is a guy who knows a lot about setting goals, planning toward them, working hard even in the face of adversity, never losing sight on your goals, and achieving. From that perspective, he brings a lot to the table that would benefit young adults who would listen to what he has to say.

Self made and hard working need to respect that. And lets applaud him willing to take his time to talk and try to mentor young people. We need more business leaders willing to do that.

Believe it or not the Little Caesars affiliation is with the local store, not the big company.
I wish we could do something with the company. Even if it is simply naming of something like the new scoreboard.

I am surprised that he remembers where Ypsilanti is.

Dear Friends,
Obviously, someone invited him to come and talk. My question would be, are we trying to get a donation out of him. Or is that obvious as well?
Just to add a little history to this discussion, Domino's started out as Dominick's. For what ever reason, they changed the name to what it is now called. If, I remember correctly, the original location was on Cross Street.

I love walking into Domino's shops outside of Michigan and seeing framed pictures of the original store in Ypsi. I've seen them in Indiana, Maryland, Virginia, etc.

I agree! I'm not a fan of Tom's social agenda either. I am, however, an admirer of his business accomplishments. EMU football can pick his brains about his successes without adopting his entire life philosophy.
