I hate to say it but the chances of Audige staying are super, super slim. He is garnering serious interest from high major teams. Could he stay? Of course; but it seems highly unlikely at this point. I’m not trying to upset anyone or feed the rumor mill; it’s just the truth.

How does anyone know, unless it comes from talking directly to the player about it, what these 18 year olds are thinking?

Not just Audige, but any of these hundreds of college players who participate in this farcial transfer list program?

Well, one thing we will quickly learn about Dane and staff is how they deal with adversity. None of this is his doing, but much of what a coach has to deal with isn’t (injuries, bad calls, recruits choosing somewhere else even when you put your best foot forward, etc). So do these guys not let the current situation paralyze them while they paint an exciting vision for the future to recruits and find a way to get the most out of the guys on the floor next year? Or do they crumble? I’m pulling hard for Dane, as I want to see us have a solid program for many years to come. But he’s definitely being tested, from Day 1.

I haven't heard much from the Huge crowd since Milon, Pierce, and Brown switched gears. Tony was mean...no NCAAT...blah blah blah. Yea, this is better.

Those 2019 recruits should start pouring in any minute. I mean, who wouldn't want to be a cog in this wheel of stability and promise?

If LJ leaves, Chase won't be far behind. Rowe needs to start drafting Huge's termination paperwork.

Your "All is well, do not panic" attitude is amusing if nothing else.

Tribe basketball rumors
So now we have 6, maybe 7 scholarship players coming back for next year with at least 6 open scholarships and no known offers for this year and a first year head coach ...

How in the world is this “for the Bold” and pursuing excellence? Beyond frustrating!

I get that some might argue the long play, but if you do, you are throwing away the Senior year of one the best Tribe players in our generation in Nathan ... so so stupid ... this is like Tony’s first year in 03-04 when he had Adam Hess and not much else (which included a walk on pulled straight off the intramural courts who I competed against there and based on that result I should’ve tried out as a walk on)

I thought we were beyond this ...

I am fully supportive of Dane and think actually he will be really good for us long term.

I just can’t fathom how this cost was worth it and how the decision maker and those above her didn’t see this coming ... not to mention we are paying 7 figures for this self inflicted wound ....

Huge either didn’t see the mass player exodus and donor pushback/fallout coming or she didn’t care and still concluded firing Tony this year right now was worth it ... either way is a huge indictment on her as a leader

I’d like to give the selection/advisory committee a mulligan. Let’s rewind and try this again.
