Drew Hare wasn't bad...who knows what Maddie had he spent the year at QB, instead of late transitioning...and Childers was MAC freshman of the year...too bad he peaked at that

In all fairness he hasn’t even started his Junior year and I will say Childers got better last year, though not significantly. Harnish made a huge jump his junior year accelerated by a little competition from that other dude that started Iowa state. Now I wouldn’t expect that same type of jump but it could happen.

He did not have a Galloway to throw too either.

…..nor a Golladay.

Not too concerned about who's transferred so far but hoping this trend ends relatively soon.

Who are we going to have for a young QB waiting in the wings? Even assuming Bowers is here for 2 years, Childers will also be done, as will Thompson, and Jiya Wright transferred. And Rodney Hall is already moved to another position it seems. Drake Davis?

I assume we are hitting Pro style QBs hard in this class. I would imagine we will take 2. Who ever is brought in will be starting for 3 years.

RE: Jiya Wright Transferring
He was a transfer walk on. His moving on means nothing to the fortunes of this team. Could be a "cut" but maybe also they're being more realistic about opportunity and the new staff has enough PWO's coming in that they want to give the new guys more of a chance.

According to this site we have offers to 2 pro-style and 2 dual-threat QBs for 2020. https://247sports.com/college/northern-i...ll/Offers/

I believe he didn't start. I know he went to a football powerhouse but he did not get the majority of reps.
