Is the rumor I heard true? That Duane's last words were "Burry me in C..." but he didn't get the last word out before he died so they buried him in Covington? Covington?

But when I think of him I think of how much he loved in Cincinnati. When I met Duane Norman, we were in school, looking at basketball sheets. He was a very nice person to me during a very tough time. I miss him.

He was the biggest fan of the Cincinnati Bearcats. He attended every single game, and the best time of our lives was when he would host a party in the parking lot before the game. He liked to make chicken, and he was good at making sauce. He also made a very good Appian Way Pizza.

Before the first football game this year, I will host a parking lot party to celebrate the life of Duane Norman and how much passion he had for Cincinnati Bearcats football and basketball. His family will be there. I hope you are there too.

Oh by the way... that would be the parking lot of the Norwood UDF.

All good on the pie. As Lush pointed out, we need a bit of LSD. And we're not talking that brown **** on paper, Doss, that your people used to sell in the lot at Buckeye Lake. That ****'ll make someone run through a plate glass window because Redpants looked at 'em funny when she stepped out of the Bentley. We're talking the good stuff from the source. Albert Hoffman's recipe. Stanley Owsley spread that **** all over the scene, and let a few folk in on the secret. Puts you on another plane, but your pieces are all still there and you can see exactly how everything fits together. That's the essence of how Duane viewed the world. Shout at me if you need me to swing down to Eugene and check out if the Kesey kids are still dialed in.

Did someone mention LSD? That reminds me of some other memories at Daniels Hall and the Cincinnati Zoo...oh wait, that's another thread.

If you're referring to a Phish show at the Zoo in 1993 where I may or may not have been sitting on the train tracks over the lake next to the monkey enclosure sucking on a balloon at 1:00 a.m., I don't know what you're talking about.

No, my memory is from spring 1987 and let's just say that several of us never went to sleep for 24 hours...

As for the zoo, it was very comfortable wearing shades and blending in with the crowds watching the exhibits. Lots of "ooohs" and "ahhhs" on that day....

I hope UC can get the work done in time for the UCLA opener to unveil The Duane Norman Memorial Port-O-Let. So appropriate because we know they like Duane will be full of crap.

What I remember about Duane was his kindness. He had a lot of salvos aimed at him, and people went out of their way to alienate and bully him. But he laughed everytime, and remained positive. He was special, but also misunderstood. He had many, many friends and we will celebrate his life forever.

Back again, eh? I must admit, you get an "A" for effort but an "F" for relevance.

Should I ban all of your new aliases now? Seriously, you aren't fooling anybody. You aren't cute. And you are about to get an IP ban.
