I'd rather have the players commit first. GP basing on predictions is not something I can depend on.

I am a little surprised by this. Other teams get ranked based off of potential in the preseason, rarely Memphis.

sure, Penny can coach but he also has 2007 NBA Coach of the Year Sam Mitchell and former Ole Miss Asst HC/Interim HC Tony Madlock to help with the Xs and Os while Penny and Miller are out recruiting top players.

Xs and Os won't be an issue for Penny/staff no matter how much the UK fans hope.

GP explained on his radio show that he compiled this 25+1 list assuming the crystal ball projections from 247 are 100% accurate.

In other words, MEMPHIS is projected via 247 crystal ball projections to get Hampton, Precious and LQ. So he ranked Memphis assuming Memphis has those guys on the roster.

Some could argue that a team with 3 lottery picks ranked 5th is low. There aren't 4 other teams with 3 lottery picks on the roster.
