That'll help how the game looks on tv. Camping World Stadium was just too big.

This is a good move. I wonder if they're going to keep it on CBSSN or try their hand at something new? Stadium is easy to find either on TV or on their app or plutoTV/sling/etc.

LOL, should have read the article from the Sun Belt's media:

https://sunbeltsports.org/news/2019/5/1/...adium.aspx

Quote:Kickoff for the fifth-annual Cure Bowl will be December 21, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

If you're traveling for a bowl game keeping it on the Saturday before X-mas is nice.

Per Brett McMurphy on Twitter, ESPN has purchased the bowl starting in 2020

Nice it's getting a better TV partner but probably will change conference (no more AAC?) and date.

RE: Cure Bowl changing Venues
So that'll make 3 of the (4 or 5) SBC bowls owned by ESPN:

Camellia Bowl
Cure Bowl
Myrtle Beach Bowl

Then we have:

New Orleans Bowl
Arizona Bowl (2019 is the last year for SBC)

Doesn't OCSC stadium have a safe standing section? Can you sit there or will fans just have the stand the whole game in the end zone?

Seats can be temporarily installed in the Safe Standing area, but who knows if they will be. I think it would be cool to leave it open (as long as no fan base fights occur).

You left out the Dollar General Bowl.

RE: Cure Bowl changing Venues
Sure did. Thanks!

For future bowls, I hope we get to keep the current with a bit of a shuffle in opponents.

DG Bowl: MWC
NOLA: CUSA
Camellia: MAC
Cure: AAC
Myrtle: MAC/CUSA
