New Fenway Park Bowl for 2020: AAC v. ACC
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Boston’s Fenway Park will host a new bowl game starting in 2020 featuring football teams from the Atlantic Coast and American Athletic conferences, sources told Stadium.

Fenway Park will join Los Angeles and Myrtle Beach as sites for new bowl games in 2020, which marks the start of the NCAA’s new bowl cycle.

Elated with any new bowl affiliation with the P5.

Disappointed that it will be in a cold, damp location where it gets dark at 4:30 p.m. in December and January. Maybe that's a competitive advantage if UC is selected and draws Miami (FL) or Florida State in a snowstorm.

Yea, wish it wasn’t a cold weather location, but admittedly it’s pretty cool that they will play a bowl game at Fenway.

There's 3 new bowls?

So what old bowls are shutting down? 5 out of the past 8 years, teams with losing records have gone bowling.

If they run out of bowl eligible teams, some bowls should have to go without a game for the year. That would make them compete a bit to make sure they are not the least attractive bowl games for teams.

Funny, but pretty sure if Boston College is Bowl eligible they're the team with an inside track.

Total letdown. Bowls should be in a warm climate or cold with a dome.

Been to Boston many times and it is fun from late spring through early fall, but winter sucks.

Why not start playing bowls in CFL Stadiums?

Calgary Stampede Bowl, Winnipeg Blue Bomber Bowl, Hamilton Tiger Cats Bowl? No because it would be friggin cold!

Underwhelmed!

I don't want to complain since our bowl tie-ins are generally shat so this is an opportunity to play a P5 team and not CUSA or the MAC. I just don't get playing a game that is supposed to be a reward in the Northeast in December. Boston is a great town as I've visited there and I want to go back again but it's much better in spring or summer.

Why are we worried about the bowl in Boston, we are destined for the Bowl Championship Series Bowls. All of them are in nice sunny warm places. Go Bearcats!

I wouldn't mind getting a rebuilding school six team in this bowl and busting them upside the head.

The sight lines are horrible. Seats are only on one sideline as the other side is mostly The Green Monster. A lot of seats are end zone.

Crappy seating, likely cold as hell - not my idea of a good bowl experience.

Pinstripe bowl has been quite successful. This is a cooler stadium. I think this will be successful.

UC makes a better bowl we do not have to worry about it. Just win.
