What is with all the nutjobs in California lately? And they appear to be from all races and political spectrums so you can't just simply try to pin it off on one group or another.

When your economy allows only for those without the background to be elites to a life of poverty, it is going to produce a lot of nutjobs. Idle hands are the devil's playground. While the problem is everywhere, California is the epicenter. How else does one become a proud incel, for example? Maybe if they had something productive to do or a job to leave in the evening with a little self-esteem to take into the public arena, they might have a shot at getting laid or at least not have the amount of free time it takes to come up with the logic that they have to kill a bunch of people?
